My Adkins genealogy starts out with Henderson Lee Adkins born January 18, 1886 in Kentucky. Henderson L. Adkins married Meda A. Matheny. Meda A. Matheny was born in Ohio in 1891. In 1910 Henderson L. and Meda A. were living in West Bannah township, Dickinson County, Michigan. By 1920 they were living in Pike County, Kentucky. Henderson L. Adkins died around 1920 or 1921. His wife Meda (Matheny) Adkins died December 18, 1944 and was buried in Logan, Ohio next to her second husband Ken Damron.

Guy Adkins married Hazel Hall August 01, 1936 in Pike County, Kentucky. Hazel Hall was the daughter of Joseph Hall (b.1885) and Rebecca Tackitt (b.1882). She was born in Wales, Pike County, Kentucky in 1916. They had eight children in Kentucky. Guy Adkins was a coal miner and died August 06, 1968 in Floyd County, Kentucky.

Adkins married Dee Osborne in Pretonburgh, Floyd County, Kentucky on May 19, 1955. Dee was the daughter of Milton Osborne (b.1896) and Rosa Hatfield (b.1899). She was born in Hi Hat, Floyd County, Kentucky on September 03, 1939. Asher and Dee Adkins had three children.

He was born November 26, 1958 in Kendallville, Noble County, Indiana. They had two children and eventually got divorced in Noble County, Indiana. Debra L. Adkins second marriage was to Robert Taylor in Noble County, Indiana December 27, 1993. They had one child.
